“Writing Women Back Into History”

 

A Simple Pleasures Books & Gifts Author Event

Please join us on Saturday, March 6 at Ashland Coffee & Tea, 100 N. Railroad Ave., Ashland, Va. from 1-4 pm as we host an author event celebrating Women’s History Month.

Featured at this event are local authors Sylvia Hoehns Wright and Connie Lapallo.

Sylvia H. Wright is a Glen Allen based consultant, lecturer, freelance columnist and features writer. She will be discussing her book, A Path Worn Smooth. More information about this author and her work can be obtained at: www.thewrightscoop.com

Connie Lapallo’s love for writing, teaching and history is reflected in her past accomplishments and work. She was first published as a youth reporter for The Richmond News Leader. She also spent time as a docent at Berkley Plantation. She will be discussing her book, Dark Enough to See the Stars in a Jamestown Sky.
